We both agreed that was enough talk about the hefty things in our life. We finished eating the berries, bread and cream. We drank more Goshem tea and stopped using words as I told her all about my visit to Enu. I told her about Adore and how beautiful she is on the inside and out, about the green grass and how my deepest desires materialized to form my world, which included Baron. I told her how he came to me in the window and that is why I chose to leave. I could never live in a world that he’s not part of.

It’s very early in the morning when Baron and I are in a guest room alone on the top floor. I take off my pants and bra, and leave my tank top on. I’d rather sleep nude but didn’t want to make things more difficult for him than they are. He keeps his eyes off of me as my fingers peel off the rest of my clothes. It’s clear this avoidance is deliberate. The good thing is the house is quite chilly so I slide into the quilt; he slides in behind me and wraps his arms around me.

“They’re pink now,” he says, referring to my panties and we both laugh.

I turn to face him and after looking a long time into his eyes, he presses his lips onto mine and we kiss. Not long after he flips me on my back and puts his hand between my thighs again. His fingers go back to that spot and before you know it, I’m there, moaning in deep pleasure.

“You can do it,” I whisper encouraging him to go all the way this time. His eyes are pinned to my face and even as I’m speaking, he’s doing it again. Even as I feel it coming on, I pull his shirt up by the hem and lift it over his head.

He lets me.

His chest is solid and the ripples of muscles that decorate it are flawless. The contrasting colors of our skin looks like a Picasso drawn in chiaroscuro. As the explosion within me is ignited, I can’t help but form the expression on my face he so desires. His growl is long and hard.

“Clarity,” he says and moves rapidly and is on top and inside of me.

I cannot believe what we’re having is mere sex. I cannot be. Every movement tingles, no thrust is wasted. I’m building to an orgasm and so is he. I can hear him moaning so vulnerably in my ear, fighting a strong urge. As our bodies merge in this way, he’s warm all over and inside of me. There’s even sweat on his brow. I want to kiss him, do something besides lay here but the pleasure is so potent that I’m lost in it. I want him to stop but keep going. I want to thank the angel who made the first of my kind and who or whatever made the first of his kind.
